This bus and tour is a perfect way to get a feel for the city and area. We rode through one full run and took lunch. Then hit the stops that we found interesting. Perfect!! We found the tour guides friendly, engaging and full of history with a bit of light hearted humor thrown in.

I did the hop-on-hop-off bus twice last week with two different sets of friends. The first tour guide was very informative and I learned a lot. The second tour guide, Evelyn I think her name was, talked so fast I could barely understand her. There were several couples that were from other countries. I think it would be impossible for them to understand her. I asked her once if she could talk slower she said, "I'll try." I did not notice any difference. We got off the bus to visit another friend and when we got back on the bus (we had to wait over 1.5 hours for what was supposed to be a half-hour wait). It was the same tour guide. I again asked her if she could talk a little slower. She said, "I'll try". I did not notice any difference. Although she gave a lot of information I couldn't understand most of it except that six different times she talked about how wonderful Wawa was.

It is unfortunate that your tour experience did not receive a higher rating given that you said your first tour guide was very informative and you learned a lot. I do apologize that your experience with the second guide did not meet your expectations. Each of our guides is unique and brings their personal style to their tour presentation. All our tours depart regularly as scheduled from Stop 1 and do return within 90 minutes (tour length) give or take a few minutes for traffic depending on the time of day, unless there is a detour or unanticipated reason creating a longer delay, such as unexpected road closure, utility or police activity. In addition, we offer a complimentary shuttle for anyone needing a pick up from a stop in the event the tour is delayed. The shuttle can be arranged by calling the customer service number on the back of the brochure. When you visit Philadelphia again, please give us another try.
