You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

Was an awesome experience. Our guide Jamie totally rocked it. He taught and showed us things we would have not experienced on our own. I highly recommend Black Hills Adventure Tours and Jamie as your guide!

Jamie with Black Hills Adventure Tours has 5-star attributes as a tour guide. He was knowledgeable about each site and their history. Jamie knows all the best hiking trails and best views. Our time was well managed each day and we visited many more sites than possible on our own. Jamie was able to adapt to the needs of our group. His organization, preparation and maintenance of the tour bus was exceptional. Other notable qualities include trustworthy, personable, punctual, safety conscious and engaging. We highly recommend Black Hills Adventure & our incredible Tour Guide, Rose! From the planning to pickup and drop off at a convenient location, to the well equipped and luxurious Ford Rv van, to the snacks and cold water and Ma Parker’s homemade toffee to the great lunch at a charming local restaurant, to the ice cream treat in a local shop, to the sightings of a huge Bull Buffalo, coyote and the hidden beauty that we glimpsed under a rock while hiking……WOW….where to begin: Topping the list was a hike led by Rose on an off-the-tourist trail with breathtaking views and thrilling heights. Next both Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse came alive with our Tour Guide’s knowledge, anecdotes and information she shared that made the whole experience FUN and educational!!! We explored the countryside both on foot and in air conditioned comfort, and got a kick out of driving through the tunnels! My husband and I and our 11 year old grandsons will never forget this all-day adventure. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience AND we came away with a deeper understanding and appreciation for this hidden gem called South Dakota! We will be back!!
