You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

Mark did a wonderful job as our tour guide for our Monument Tour today. He was able to provide detailed information about Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Black Hills, and the Crazy Horse Memorial. He also knows special tidbits of facts not included in any written information about these sites. Mark also suggested wonderful spots to capture just the right photos of these various sites. Once again, Mark was personable, funny, and quite well versed on a variety of topics throughout our tour. He made the day truly a wonderful experience!

This tour is bookended by two very different sights. First is Mount Rushmore, where the pictures you’ve seen do not do this justice. And second is the rock formations and animals in Custer State Park. Mark, our guide was not only a very knowledgeable person, but also showed great consideration for our needs and desires. He made some great suggestions of things for us to see and they were all amazing. If you can get him as your tour guide, you won’t regret it. This is the second tour we’ve taken through Black Hills Adventure Tours and I’d use them again with no reservations!

We had an amazing time Mark was fantastic he went above and beyond to show us a lot of little things that normally we wouldn't get to see. He was definitely the expert. Very personable very friendly would highly highly recommend anyone to take this tour.
