William, our tour guide, was very entertaining and informative with interesting facts and stories about Dallas and its history. The van was brand new and very cool and comfortable. For the Fort Worth part, we were given some information before being dropped off at the Stockyard for 2 hours. It wasn't enough time to really do too much, but it was a good general visit that was enjoyable.

The day was divided into two halves: the first half was Dallas, and the second half was Fort Worth. In Dallas, we drove around the downtown area, with the guide pointing out various points of interest and giving us good historical information. We stopped a few times on the way for photo opportunities. There was interesting information presented on the JFK assassination, and we also drove through Highland Park, which was amazing. Around 11 AM we stopped at the Farmers Market (which is really a big food court), and had 30 minutes for lunch. On the way from Dallas to Fort Worth, the guide gave a great overview of Texas history. Once in Fort Worth, we did one photo opportunity, and then were dropped off at the Stockyards at 2 PM, where we were on our own until 4 PM, after the driving of the bulls. For my wife and I, we could have done without the Fort Worth part, because it was primarily just restaurants and shops, and the driving of the bulls was a little anticlimactic (there were only 10-15). I was going to knock the review down a notch because of this. However, for my sister-in-law and father-in-law, the Fort Worth part was the highlight of the tour, and they probably could've done without the Dallas part. And there were other people on the tour that loved the Fort Worth part, and weren't as excited about the Dallas part. So I realize that it's hard to satisfy everyone's interests, and therefore rate this tour 5 stars. It offers everyone a bit of something. You may not find the entire tour 5 star, but you will find a portion of it 5 star -- and others in your group may find other portions of it 5 star. Logistics were easy. There is a lot of parking around the meeting point -- we parked in a lot across the street (not inexpensive, but it is a downtown area). The van we had was literally brand new (smelled new even), and was easy to find. The tour guide knew his stuff, and was entertaining. Overall, for a first introduction and an overview of the area in a day, this is a great way to do that.
