San Xavier is a beautiful work of art with strong flavor of history and nostalgia. Beware of the too much touristic touches to Tombstone, although wandering on Boot Hill at the edge of town allows some imagination and time to contemplate the real stories of people who lived there. San Xavier Mission is a gem sparkling with Native American generosity and spirituality. Tombstone is a Pioneer/Cowboy historical reenactment offering occasional encounters with actors and residents that seem almost genuine.

The San Xavier is quite the hidden gem here in Arizona, it's one of the many reasons why we love our Tombstone tour so much! The city of Tombstone itself does still feel as genuine as it can in today's day and age. It's nearly like walking into a time machine, if you ask us. Thanks for sharing your experience with DETOURS, we hope to see you again soon!

We were picked up st our hotel on time. 😃. The van was very comfortable 😃 In our opinion, made too many unnecessary stops so the driver could get s bag of donuts, coffee etc. Never asked if anyone in the group of 8 needed to stop. ☹️ The microphone system was awful. ☹️ Kept cutting out and very difficult to understand. ☹️ Driver commented that he didn’t like that van and it wasn’t his normal van. ☹️ Driver called in and nothing could be done.☹️ I along with others complained, and even ended up with a headache. ☹️ Just happened to be three accidents on I10, which caused massive delays. ☹️ Won’t go into detail, but driver became unprofessional with passengers at that point ☹️ 😡☹️ As other posts stated, would have liked to have more time in Tombstone, and less time at the other stops

Thank you for reaching out about your experience with DETOURS. We are glad that you enjoyed the comfort and timely fashion of our vehicle. In regards to your driver, that does not sound like the quality we attempt to uphold on our tours. Our guides ensure that every guest is comfortable and that their needs are met! Their own needs come after each and every guest - and even then, we double check to see if we can do anything else before helping ourselves! Technical problems do arise out on the road and we do not always have the tools to fix them. As for road-side accidents, unfortunately that is understandably out of our control. If you could please reach out to our office to go over your tour details, day your traveled, and guide so we can ensure your issues are addressed, we would appreciate it. We take reviews like this very seriously and want to make sure guests experiences are flawless. Thank you!
