Your US Coast Guard licensed captains and guides will take you into the 600 acre spring fed refuge waters for viewing and snorkeling with these slow moving wild giants. Crystal was a fantastic tour guide! Lots of manatee encounters, great shepard to and from the boat. Tanner did a great job keeping us comfortable on the boat and getting us to/from the dock and animals.

Ed and Captain Tanner were phenomenal! They had such great, caring personalities towards us and the manatees. This trip was the first time my younger daughter went on a manatee snorkeling adventure and Ed was so kind towards her. We had a curious female manatee come right up to me and my daughter and it truly was a memorable moment for her! This was me and my husband’s third time going out with River Ventures and have been pleased each time. Thank you Ed, Tanner, and the rest of the River Ventures crew for such a wonderful experience!

Like most people, we traveled to Crystal River to see the manatees, and we were not disappointed. This tour was excellent. Our guide, Crystal, was phenomenal. During our tour, our 10-year-old needed some assistance with the current, so Crystal had her grab onto her pool noodle and basically towed her in. Throughout, she constantly made sure everyone in our group was okay and accounted for. From the opening instructions until we got back to the shore, Crystal was absolutely amazing. After we got back on the boat, our captain, Tanner, was amazing as well. He took us on a tour of the bay, showing us Lolly Island and some other cool areas. He was a wealth of information throughout. Both he and Crystal made this tour everything we could have hoped for. They were funny, cared if everyone was safe and having a good time, and they made it an awesome morning. If you are coming in the cold, get the semi-private or private tour. The heated pontoon boat was clutch after being in the water. Overall, I cannot recommend this company enough. #Ididnotpeeinmywetsuit
