Ferries are wheelchair accessible, though boarding ramps may vary in steepness due to tides. Please advise in Special Requirements at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required.
Wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities are available aboard all ferries, however wheelchair tie-downs are not currently available
Animals are permitted on the ferries but must be leashed at all times. Owners remain wholly responsible for their animals.

We all had a great time me my mother my sisters a brother-in-law and nephews had a great time and were treated with respect and was able to get on and off the boat successfully without any issues

Terrible experience returning from Sausalito with a bike! We arrived at the ferry terminal 30 minutes prior to the ferry departure and after waiting in the hot sun, were told that the ferry had reached capacity for bikes. The next ferry would not be for another hour. Dock staff was unhelpful, uncommunicative, and downright aggressive. It felt like we were cattle being herded. They ended up adding an additional, unscheduled ferry, but I felt like they could have been more clear about how many bikes could fit on board. All walk on passengers were accommodated on our original ferry, including those who arrived after us. It was a very stressful experience.

Please note that the dock staff you are referring to do not work for Blue & Gold Fleet and also note that we do have a bike reservation system. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve. Mrs Spangler was very helpful and understanding when we approached her regarding pre-booked tickets and waiting in line. Thank you very much for your patience and your friendliness. You made our day! Waiting can be long, but that’s not the ferries fault 😀 that’s due to too many people visiting 😀
