The tour itself was brilliant, and exceeded my expectation, but it's a shame that, before the tour, customers are corralled in like cattle, bossed around and treated without respect by the staff who seem to think that they're above you. And that, despite paying for the tour in advance, the staff then want USD 31 per person as a 'security fee'. Why not simply advise customers in advance that this is the case? Adding it to the total paid in advance would be a more transparent, honest way of doing business. That said the tour was honestly fantastic.
It was a beautiful sunny day on Tuesday 25th April but my trip with Big Apple Helicopter was most disappointed.
We were advised to arrive 30 minutes before the booking time, greeting us was a lady she was shouting and pushing us to be in the queue (no need to really). After one hour exhausted waiting, we were finally got on the helicopter and wish that it was all worth while but only two words from the pilot – “Ground Zero”, “Liberty”. There was no chance to ask a question or stop for a photo.
Recommend to everyone? Yes, but chose a better company if there is any.
