This Luau was definitely worth the trip to the North Shore. If you want to have a genuine luau feeling, this is the one for you. They keep it to an intimate guest list of 200, which is small for luaus. I would suggest definitely getting at least Gold tier as silver tier you're in the back row of tables and it's not the greatest for taking pictures or even seeing above people's heads for that matter. Platinum status gets you tables down near the stage but it's not necessary. Gold tier is a few rows back but is elevated so you can even argue you get a better view.

My family and I have visited Hawaii 4 times and every time we visit we go to a Luau and I have to say this was by far the best one we have ever been to. We did the VIP gold which was well worth the money for the drinks and items u receive but if u don’t have the extra to do VIP u get the same treatment and interaction. My girls (10 & 6) had a great time and learned how to weave a headband which they wore the whole time. The staff is so patient and kind, funny, and caring. They do limited tickets so ur not pushed up against others while eating and watching the fabulous show they put on. We will definitely keep going back to this Luau on our future visits. Thank you Tao Luau for such an amazing experience!!

The people a Toa luau make you feel so welcomed into their family! The food was SO delicious. The host was super funny, the performers were insane and it was just an amazing experience all together. 10/10 recommend anyone visiting Oahu to go to this Luau!
