The 3 minute video at the start of our Top of the Rock experience was much more informative and inspiring than our Rockefeller Center Tour. As summits go, this one is at the bottom of our list (Empire State & Vanderbilt are much more of an experience). It has great views (but don’t they all?). The main selling point here is the Beam which is just an overpriced photo opportunity. I would recommend the other observation decks over this one.

It is a great view and an educational video about Rock Center. Great fun for all ages! You will take great pics.

We did a late night visit and it was nice but the staff at 30 Rock was a little unorganized. I think cuz they were ready to go otherwise the view was super nice and i would recommend.
