Definitely a must do attraction when in Manhattan. We paid a bit extra to book the sunset times, they recommend a time 1 hr before sunset. Amazing views of the entire area. Booking in advance would be important as we witnessed people arriving to book tickets but with a wait time of about 4 hrs.

Honestly, you wait in a queue for a little while - have to watch a video of an old man talking for 20 minutes for an observation deck that isn’t actually that high nor impressive, the whole thing is surrounded by glass which isn’t clean so no clear pictures can really be taken and it’s completely over crowded- getting the lift down took 20 minutes because of the queue and we had the first set of tickets for the day. Wouldn’t recommend and absolutely would not suggest taking children

Very nice trip to the top of the rock. We did Empire state a few years ago and that has a great view. The rock offers a different view with Central Park being much better and that of the Empire building itself. Great in a clear day but expect a queue to get up. Shopping inside with many shops to choose from. Recommended
