This trip was NOT as advertised! We spent most of the trip riding in a small van at maximum capacity. We only saw three waterfalls, one which was barely a trickle! We stopped at two overlooks and that was it!!! No real hiking to speak of, just a little walking which we needed after such a long ride in the van. We were also told that we needed to bring a lunch but there was no lunch break. Our food ended up going bad because there was no way to keep it cool.

It is our promise to deliver an exceptional experience, visiting stunning waterfalls and panoramic vistas, guided by a local expert who is well versed in history, flora and fauna. We guarantee at least 2 miles of hiking, and it sounds like you may have been with a group with some physical limitations. We want to make this up to you and make it right, so please do reach out to us about a refund. We have taken the feedback seriously, and clarified guest expectations with the tour guides, and clarified the language on the website so that everybody is more prepared to hike 2 to 2.5 miles with inclines. We provide snacks but encourage guests to bring their own food if they wish. We maximize our time touring scenic areas rather than having a sitdown lunch, and everybody is more than welcome to snack while sitting at a waterfall, taking in the scenery from the vehicle, etc. At this time, we have limited capacity to provide a cooler for everybody.

I recently took the waterfalls tour and it was incredible. Our tour guide Nicholas was very knowledgeable. He had some wonderful stories pertaining to the history of the park and so many details regarding the surrounding nature. We visited three waterfalls, each so different. I would recommend this tour without hesitation. Thank you so much, Nicholas, for providing such a wonderful tour.

If you are looking for a guided hiking experience this is NOT it. I would say this is more of a scenic drive (via passenger van) with occasional stops along the way to view a waterfall or a mountain view overlook. With that being said it was still enjoyable. Our guide Ethan was great. Very knowledgeable of the history of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding area. He was able to identify local plant life and allowed us to sample a few wild ediable vegetation. If you are looking for social media worthy pictures with little effort this is your trip. If you are looking for a hiking adventure choose another excursion. Not bad, just set your expectations accordingly.

We updated the tour content on the website, and clarified guest expectations with the tour guides, so that everybody is prepared to hike 2 to 2.5 miles.
