Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

Michelle was an amazingly knowledgeable and passionate tour-guide who was able to provide an insight into Savannah like no other. Her tour was engaging and informative, and she even stayed afterwards to give us pointers for the rest of our stay. Michelle and her tours are a MUST-DO in Savannah. We found her on groupon, and at that price, the tour was a real steal.

I recently went to Savannah and took a tour with Michelle. She was a great, dynamic tour guide and I appreciated how informative the tour was. I enjoyed hearing the stories that Michelle related to the buildings we passed. Savannah has such an interesting history. I loved learning about the history - the myths, and of course some of the folklore that led people to construct buildings in particular ways. I think this tour would benefit anyone interested in the history of Savannah who wants to understand the layout of the city. I wish that we booked the tour for our first day in Savannah because it would have been great to have the cool facts as we planned other activities! Michelle was wonderful and she led very well paced tour. She has a warm personality and is very knowledgeable. We asked multiple questions and she always had an answer which led into other very interesting historical facts.
