Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

We had a blast on this trip! It was easy to book online, and we had a discount code that made the price more than competitive with the nearby outfitters. Ed our guide was great! Not a big talker, but he definitely worked to give us the most exciting ride he could! The water was HIGH, no low water complaints here.... so the Level 4 rapids definitely got the heart pumping! My 16 and 13 year old LOVED THIS TRIP and wanted to go right back! The pictures were awesome, lots of smiles and white water. Definitely a must do activity in the Pigeon Forge area. Thanks for a great adventure!

The guides make sure you are safe and very well informed of what to do. We all had a great time, even my grumpy 16 year old!! If you are fortunate enough to have Jedi Mike as you guide, you are in for a treat! He will be sure to get everyone soaked!

If you plan on taking a rafting trip down the Pigeon River, you have got to go with Big Creek Expeditions. This group is the best! I have taken my youth group down this river 3 times now and used Big Creek twice. The one time we chose another group, I knew it was a mistake time we got on the bus. I will never use anyone but, BIG CREEK. Booking the trip was so easy, I just called Debora and she took care of everything. Our guide, JOEY was absolutely Awesome, He made the entire trip enjoyable. He jumped to the rescue when one of our men feel out the raft in the middle of the largest rapid. He help get him back into the raft quickly and safely. He was a pleasure to be with and hope he is still there next time we go rafting. Way to go BIG CREEK, keep up the good work!
