Quête du zodiaque sauvage

Aperçu
Your adrenalin will be pumping when you captain a four- or six-passenger Zodiac, a rigid-hulled inflatable boat offering speed and agility. The adventure begins with a tour by van through historic downtown Ketchikan. Look out the windows as your scenic drive travels past totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the beautiful coastline of the Tongass Narrows to the Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh air as you walk the mystical rainforest trail to the Zodiac. After a safety briefing, you’ll bundle up in rain gear, rubber boots and a life jacket, step inside the sturdy Zodiac and follow your guide out to the beautiful George Inlet Fjords. Soak up the pristine scenery, and marvel at the rich wildlife. After cruising for 90 minutes, you’ll return to the cannery for a complimentary flight of 49th state craft beers or sodas and a snack!

Absolutely recommend! Stunning views and drive your own zodiac. Beautiful weather. Small groups. Close up wild life. Couldn't have asked for more. Start with a bus ride through town then a short walk through a trail to the pier. They have boots and rain coats and waterproof pants and of course life jackets. Our guide Chris was great. You have a radio on each boat and he pointed out sights such as sockeye salmon run waterfall , harbor seals , eagles nests and even had a cooler with fish to bring a stunning sight of an eagle diving down in front of us. Unforgettable. They say you can see whales, and had some bubble feeding in the deep waters we were driving on just days earlier. we didnt see any this trip but we did see several during the cruise week. To end the trip, we had a beer flight and reindeer sausage waiting. This is a newer excursion and I hope it is successful so we can do it again if we ever return.

Absolutely 5 Star review. We saw tons of seals and eagles. The boats were brand new and were very comfortable. They gave us weather gear but we didn't get wet at all. Highly recommend everyone book their trip.

We had to come back, it was just so much fun the first time. The staff great, and the experience was well worth the winter wait. See you again soon!!
