De vraies photos de fantômes, présentées dans les livres Haunted Historic Colonial Williamsburg Virginia with Breakthrough Ghost Photography, Parts 1 & 2, sont présentées à chaque arrêt sur un grand ordinateur portable (Samsung Galaxy). Les guides indiqueront l'emplacement exact autour ou dans la maison ou le bâtiment où la photo a été prise et encourageront les voyageurs à prendre leurs propres photos. Colonial Williamsburg

Travelers will get to pick from multiple different haunted stops along the Duke of Gloucester Street, where they will stop to see the ghosts photographed at the house or tavern they've chosen and listen to the haunted legacy and/or history of the site. Ghost photos will be shown on a large computer notebook (Samsung Galaxy), and the guides will point out the exact window or location where the photo was taken, as well possibilities about the identity of the ghost in question. Travelers are encouraged to bring their own cameras too; many have walked away with their own intriguing ghost photos.

Who would ever think that they should walk through Williamsburg after all of the exhibits are closed? This is my first-time-ever review of ANYTHING. The experience was so good that, as soon as we left our East Tour, we spent the whole car ride home vowing to review our adventure and talking about what we would say. Out of the mouths of the 10 & 13 year olds in the backseat: 5 stars! I agreed. 5 stars, 100%. We have planned a trip back to Williamsburg next year with another Ghostography tour at the top of our agenda. If keywords are the most efficient way to review something online: Photography. Colonial History. Civil War. Black Beard. Ghosts. Affordable. Accommodating. Spooky. My skeptical 13 year old got freaked out a few times. My 10 year old believer was totally enthralled. We were all completely engaged. The stories were fascinating and gave a broader appreciation of the history of Williamsburg, encompassing so much more than its Colonial history. Tim was our guide and was a bottomless well of knowledge of past & present Williamsburg. The photographic theme of the tour would be worth the ticket. Tim Scullion has some beautiful photographs of the buildings in Williamsburg-- ghosts or no ghosts. What we benefited from (in addition to the spooky entertainment and intriguing history lessons) was that our tour guide literally walked us to the vantage points where he took the pictures and gave us his tips on successful ghost photography. Since leaving Tim's tour, we have been inspired to use our new photographic techniques to tour our own questionably haunted environment. It's worth a late-night side trip. This is a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes. Bring your camera. Pros: We learned a ton more than we expected to about past and present Williamsburg as well as ghostography techniques. Cons: I feel terrible that Tim stayed out in the cold showing us fascinating things for longer than he needed to.

Our family has been on a couple of Williamsburg ghost tours over the years and they have been enjoyable, but this was by far the best one ever! Tim was very personable and was very careful in how he presented his photographs so as to not scare our 10 year old daughter. He was very knowledgeable in his history of the buildings and the people who lived here and his photographs were amazing! Tim’s tour was unrushed and we loved the way he allowed us to digest and interpret his stories and pictures. We look forward to doing his East tour on our next visit! Ghostographer is a MUST DO!
