Joseph Nelson is what elevates this to a 5-star rating. His description of Navajo culture supplemented the beautiful views. The 2 1/2 hour tour seemed to be the perfect length as it allowed for several stops to explore and take a lot of pictures. An added bonus was the experience of a windstorm with some rain, and lightning in the distance. That last part of the experience is obviously not guaranteed but Joseph’s professionalism and coolness allowed us to continue the tour to its conclusion. If you can’t tell by now, I highly recommend this.

My husband and I took my parents on this tour, and we all had a wonderful time! John was our tour guide, he had some great stories and was extremely insightful, teaching us many things about Navajo culture and the valley. He showed us the best camera settings on our phones, took his time to take the best photos for us, and was skilled at playing his flute as well! We highly recommend this tour.
