FREAKING COLD BUS AND DRIVER WOULD NOT TURN HEAT ON!!!! Ridiculous! Repeated requests ignored. 35 degrees. Bus like an icy tomb.

I am sorry that the bus was cold. When there are people on the bus, sometimes the heating system when in use will make the windows fog and you cannot see the Battlefield. Therefore, the driver must make a judgement call on whether to turn on the heat or not. Otherwise, I hope you had a very informative tour with our Licensed Guide.

The tour guide WAS NOT a national park ranger, as advertised. He talked way too fast and too much and was screaming into the microphone so it was so loud on the bus. Only 24 people on the tour so no reason to talk that loud. He talked so fast I got nothing out of what he was saying. The battlefield itself was cool and we got to go up the PA monument which had great views. I would probably do the self-guided audio driving tour.

I am sorry to hear that you were expecting to have a National Park Ranger as your guide. We don't advertise using Park Rangers for our tours. We use guides that have been licensed by the National Park service to give a tour of the Battlefield. The guides we use go through a very competitive process to receive their license to be a guide for the park. As for him talking to fast, some of our guides are very passionate about the getting as much information to our guest as possible during a two-hour tour of the Battlefield. We use different guides everyday, so if you would possible take the tour again, you might get a guide who would be talk at a more normal pace.
