Loved seeing the Cultural Gardens and spending time downtown. Also saw some beautiful neighborhoods. What a great tour and what a great city with so many things to do…parks, restaurants, theater, symphony, sports, etc. I’m very impressed and Steve and Diane made it a fun day!

We only had a couple of free hours during our first visit to Cleveland, so Steve’s two-hour personalized tour was perfect for us. He was right on time for our hotel pickup, and as he wanted to customize the tour to our interests, we told him we really just wanted an overview of Cleveland. He certainly covered a variety of sights and information about the city that we previously knew nothing about. We saw the University District that encompasses Case Western Reserve University, the vast range of the Cleveland Clinic campus, early neighborhoods of the city plus a variety of residential neighborhoods, some beautiful buildings and many lovely open green spaces throughout the city. A drive through the Lake View Cemetery allowed us to take in this impressive park-like final resting place for many familiar names. We particularly enjoyed a view from Lake Erie of the distant downtown area several miles away. Steve helped us understand the transition of Cleveland's industrial roots to what it has become today, along with the importance of its immigrant populations highlighted by the fascinating Cultural Gardens. He showed us how some architectural masterpieces such as a bank's lobby and towering office buildings from a century ago have been repurposed into such uses as a grocery store and downtown condominiums without losing any of their timeless beauty. The "Arcade" took our breath away when we stepped inside for a quick look. Steve was knowledgeable and personable and gave us a fun introduction to the city of Cleveland. We highly recommend this tour!
