Went on the Margaret Todd for an EXTREMELY boring boat ride. No wind so couldn’t sail and I understand you can’t control the wind. Motored out about 10 minutes and sat in one spot for about 15 minutes while the captain talked on his cellphone. The motor was shut completely off. We then motored out a little further for about another 10 minutes and then turned around and headed back to the dock.

Yes, unfortunately, the wind does not cooperate. Probably the captain was checking with the weather service to see if some gales would pick up. We apologize for your disappointment and hope you join us again on a windier day.

A wonderful experience on the Margaret Todd sunset cruise. My son helped raise the sail. The crew were great. We enjoyed meeting some of the other passengers, got some beautiful pictures, saw some porpoises and enjoyed live guitar music. We did not have much wind, but the ship has a motor so it wasn’t a problem.

The experience was great, but dont pay for this via TripAdvisor since they charge you almost $30 more than what you'll pay if you purchase directly from the company!
