This was an unforgettable day! We did take the bus to Whittier, it was nice to see the Turnagain Arm from a higher viewpoint. We had great visibility, as it was mostly sunny that day. We saw several massive glaciers and got very close to 2 of the larger ones. We were also the only larger boat out that day. We saw otters, eagles, seals, and a glimpse of a whale. There is no way way to adequately describe how large the glaciers are-but the trip was worth it. It was chilly out there, we were told we were lucky as many times they have squall like conditions. I had read to expect extreme weather, I took a backpack full of more clothes! So glad I didn't need them.

The glaciers were awe-inspiring! The weather, though iffy at the start, turned into a beautiful fall day with a light sun shimmering across the water & making the ice glow. The lunch was tasty, the company at my table were fun & friendly, and all of the staff, from bus driver to bartender to captain, were smiling & laughing along with us to make it a Perfect day! Highly recommended.

Being on the front of the ship with its engines idling, light freezing rain hitting my face, chilly wind blowing and seeing and hearing the Glacier crack off and drop into the water... what an experience. Kenny (tour bus driver) picked us up from our hotel and we were off. Kenny shaired many experience and Alaskan knowledge on the drive to 26 Glacier Cruise dock. Teaching us about types of samon. What to do if you cross paths with bears and mooses and fun experiences he's had while living in Alaska. Once on the ship "The Bravest" we were off. The cruise travels 150 miles from Whittier into Prince William Sound to see 26 glaciers, including Harvard Glacier. The US Forest service ranger narrates the cruise spotting many animals including some Bald Eagles. I would put this down as a "Not Miss" itinerary destination. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. -steve
