It was really good. The only thing is that we were 6 in the Helicopter and the person rear in the middle didn't see the same as the others. I find that unfair. The price for those should be cheaper or you should make smaller groups.
Totally amazing. It made sense of the proportions of the Grand Canyon. Our pilot was wonderful and his 'playlist' added another dimension to the experience! If you visit the Grand Canyon, this is a must.
Don't worry if your ears are sensitive to air pressure changes. Without being allowed to chew candy like she normally does on planes, I feared my wife was going to be in pain but, actually, nothing. Not a hint of airsickness either - the flight was really quite stable. Perhaps the extra visibility compared to a plane helped but there were no updrafts over edges of the rim or anything. It's plenty exciting but, to our enduring puzzlement, much less scary for either of us than standing on a narrow, fenced lookout on the rim. Don't let fear put you off. How else are you going to see the rafters, albeit far below,, buffalo and swimming elk?
