Be careful, (bad) tourist trap.
Contrary to what is indicated on the site, it is NOT possible to hear the comments in French or any other language via your telephone. If so, the personnel on board were unaware of this feature.
Our guide was friendly enough but made NO effort to address an almost exclusively NON-English speaking audience. He leaves very quickly, does not adapt his vocabulary and his flow is such that it is impossible to ask the slightest question. The interaction between the guide and the public is absolutely non-existent.
Even the safety instructions are not translated, there is not even a sign, a drawing or anything to remind them. The guide therefore spends his time making remarks to a crowd who does not even understand what he wants.
The cost is also very excessive: $28 pp for a crowded boat, with 350 passengers.
For $8 pp, take the municipal ferry to Staten Island, take the opportunity to go shopping at the outlet. We did it, the same day as the cruise, we saw EXACTLY the same thing but we were only about ten passengers on the boat.
