This was a great adventure! My kids and I had an amazing time gliding through the terrain of Maui. The crew was so knowledgeable about the area, were very fun and kept us all laughing. The equipment and zip lines were well maintained and safe. If you forget your sunscreen, don't worry, there is some there for you to use. We also had the pleasure of eating some of the local fruit that grew on the trees on the property, they were delicious. I felt is was easier than stated in other post to find the location, I had no difficulties at all. I would recommend this tour if in Maui.

There were nine in our group ranging from 67 years to 12 years old and without exception we all had the greatest time flying through the air like big gangly birds with huge smiles. We had awesome guides in Brandon, our wise-cracking catcher and Melanie, our super-cool launcher. They joke around but are serious about instructions and safety. They really made the zipline fun and soothed any anxiety for our first timers although once you do the first zipline the rest is a piece of cake and exhilarating. Northshore Zipline uses a 2-strap safety system so one strap is ALWAYS connected to a secured cable on a tree or while crossing a cable bridge or climbing a ladder. If you are afraid of heights (I am), the highest platform is about 70 feet high so just look out at the nice scenery and not down. There are 7 lines and there are no deep valleys to cross over as I have done on a previous Alaskan zipline so this is perfect for the youngsters. You will also get a little history lesson as the grounds were part of Camp Maui during World War II. This was a resting & training place for the 4th Marine Divison. We went in the middle of August at 2:15 pm so it was hot but the platforms you get staged on are shaded by the trees so you won’t cook while waiting your turn. We finished around 4:00 pm. No video or cell phones are allowed but they do take still pictures of each zipliner as you fly by. The pictures are worth the cost. Also, closed toe shoes are required, no sandals. This is our fourth time going to North Shore zip line. Each time has been a new experience. Our guides, AJ the dude, Mr. T and Frotto are one of kind guides and take safety serious yet make your activity fun, crazy, and enjoyable with great memories! And this year they added a big surprise at the end. See you guys next time.
