My husband & I vacationed in Estes Park & when I told the (adult) kids back home that I wanted to do this they laughed, as I am afraid of heights. Jokes on them, I did it! Of course, I never got beyond the first 10 foot high level, but for me this was quite an achievement! After our introduction & training, they let us loose. Staff were always watchful & kept a close eye on me, talking me through manuevers when I "got stuck". At one point, I needed assistance because my legs just froze up, but it wasn't made into an embarassing event & I was soon off on to another set of challenges.There were plenty that I could do. For an out of shape, low lander couple in their 60's I think we did all right! Of course, our bodies protested the following morning, but that's ok, we were flying home. Only regret: we didn't get pictures! You can't take pictures if on the course (in fact pockets are supposed to be empty) but if you bring someone along who stays on the ground, they can helmet up below & take pix of your dare devil adventure! Suggest reserving an early session before the heat of the day & the afternoon rain.

We loved the Open Air Adventure Park! When in the Estes Area, it's a must do for the whole family. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back!

My husband, my 11 year old son and his uncle went to Open Air Adventure on our vacation, all the staff was very friendly and they had a blast! Cost is reasonable and going online to make a reservation is a pretty good idea, because its a popular attraction and you will have less wait time to get a harness that way! They have a few drinks available for purchase, but if your a spectator, I'd bring your own and your camera!!
