Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon

Rise early to begin your hot-air balloon experience. Stop into the office for check-in, then ride to the balloon launch site (which varies day-to-day depending on weather). Your pilot begins the process of inflating the balloon when you arrive. You can even help out the crew during the inflation process for a more hands-on experience. As you float high above the ground, enjoy incredible birds-eye views of the Rio Grande Valley. Your pilot determines the route for the day depending on the wind’s direction. You may fly over the city of Albuquerque and even dip low enough to wave at people or skim the Rio Grande River. Throughout your flight, your pilot shares informative commentary about the landscape beneath you. After approximately one hour in the air, your pilot lands the balloon and the ground crew comes to meet you. Celebrate your flight with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a commemorative flight certificate before returning to the original starting point.

This was our first hot air balloon experience, and it could not have been better! The crew was friendly, efficient, and professional. We were mesmerized watching how the balloons were inflated on the ground. Our pilot did a great job pointing out the sights during the flight and informing us about how the balloon works. We are not fans of heights, but the flight was not scary at all. It was very peaceful and serene.

Our balloon ride with rainbow ryders was definitely an amazing experience! A must to check off your bucket list! Extremely great and knowledgeable pilot, whose priority was our safety. His assistants are very hardworking nice gentlemen. Views were so breathtaking! At first I thought what’s there to see but a city in a desert. Was I mistaken! Super great views! We touched down on the rio grand river. And to end a great trip we had champagne toast and treats after! I definitely recommend this and ask for pilot Alfred!!

I would highly recommend this. It was truly amazing. The team at Ryder Hot Air Balloon was amazing! From check in… drive to launch site…. Launch…. Balloooooooon across Albuquerque…. Landing…. Celebration drink…. Ride back. WOW! It was so peaceful. When I was searching…. There were a lot of different companies. I read others review and booked it. A few days ago before…. I randomly bumped into someone and we chat… I told them about our hot air balloon booking. He asked… did you book with Ryder? I answered yes. His reply was…. You will have an amazing time. Yup! We did have an amazing time!
