This Alcatraz package includes admission to the Alcatraz Island and prison Cellhouse, round-trip ferry rides to the Island, and the 45-minutes award-winning audio tour. It also includes a Hop on Hop off open top bus tour for the ultimate San Francisco experience. The Alcatraz tour ticket is very popular and it is recommended that you book in advance online to secure your Alcatraz tour spot.

You can stay on Alcatraz Island as long as you like, but allow at least 3 hours for cruising to the Island, taking the Cellhouse audio tour, exploring the rest of the Island and its historic exhibits and returning via ferry to Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing.

The Alcatraz tour was very good the boat there and back was great. Suggest buying well in advance. The hop on and off bus tour was good once we got on but not as straightforward. The ticketing system was a little confusing, so I suggest that you buy your tickets there rather than ahead of time because they didn’t really want to take the ticket from your phone or app. They want to see the QR code printed from their office machine. Not all of the headphone jacks worked. It was great going over the Golden Gate Bridge in seeing all the sites.

Excellent audio tour. Clear and factual. Underwhelmed by the structure of Alcatraz, expected a more forbidding place. Good ferry rides both ways. Recommended.

We really enjoyed Alcatraz wonderful tour. But due to lack of time we were not able to do the bus tour. We believe that it should be a two day tour or start earlier
