This Alcatraz package includes admission to the Alcatraz Island and prison Cellhouse, round-trip ferry rides to the Island, and the 45-minutes award-winning audio tour. It also includes a Hop on Hop off open top bus tour for the ultimate San Francisco experience. The Alcatraz tour ticket is very popular and it is recommended that you book in advance online to secure your Alcatraz tour spot.

You can stay on Alcatraz Island as long as you like, but allow at least 3 hours for cruising to the Island, taking the Cellhouse audio tour, exploring the rest of the Island and its historic exhibits and returning via ferry to Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing.

Bus tour took us all around San Francisco and gave us great views of the city. Alcatraz was a highlight to see what the hype was all about.

The hop on hop off bus was cool but took us about an hour to get on because every bus that passed by was already full. We had to walk a couple blocks to another stop and there was a long line where we waited about 30 minutes to get on. We wanted to experience this on the second floor of the bus but we couldn’t wait any longer so We just got on the first level. Not the same experience. After a few people got off we were able to go on tbe 2nd level.
