Located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. The slot canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Antelope Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors, and a less-crowded experience.

Antelope Canyon X is an impressive mixture of both A-shaped and V-shaped slot canyon walls. Antelope Canyon X is one of the deepest sections of the slot canyon, offering amazing photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography and an incredible slot canyon experience.

All guests must be able to walk unassisted on uneven surfaces and elevation changes i.e., steep incline/decline. This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The expectation of a spectacular experience was not quite fulfilled. The tour was quite short, but the views in the gorge were nevertheless very beautiful in places. The guide tried hard.

Canyon X will leave you speechless and you will take some beautiful photos. At the entrance they make you leave all your backpacks and bum bags. You can enter just with a bottle of water and a camera or phone. No videos allowed. A small minibus takes you to the Canyon where you meet the guide (ours was fantastic and explained all our curiosities to us. She was also an excellent photographer 🫣). The walk takes about 50 minutes. The group was small. We liked it a lot.
