Centrum Ochrony Przyrody Alaski

Wybierz się na krótki transfer do Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center na wycieczkę z przewodnikiem i interpretacją zwierząt. Centrum jest najważniejszym ośrodkiem rehabilitacji na Alasce dla rannych i osieroconych dzikich zwierząt. We recently went on the Alaska Railroad's 7-day Deluxe Alaska Sampler tour. As part of that, we went on Chugach Adventure's Bears, Trains & Icebergs tour. We had an absolutely OUTSTANDING time! The scenery was gorgeous, the weather was perfect, and everything related to getting picked up and transported to and from the train station went without a hitch. Transportation to the Alaska Wildlife Conversation Center and then to Spencer Glacier went very smoothly. While all of the crew were great, we’d like to give a special shout out to our guide for this tour, Sadie Fox…what a lovely, talented and outgoing young lady! She was just an absolute joy to spend the day with; she certainly knows her stuff and it’s obvious she really enjoys her job with Chugach. We’ve been on other tours where the staff is just sort of…”there”, at least in a physical sense, but you get the impression that they might have their mind on other things. Not Sadie (or any of the other crew we had contact with). She made sure we were safe, having a great time and was just so outgoing and helpful, and man! That smile could light up a cloudy day! You ROCK, Sadie! Thanks again for showing us the wonders of Alaska and making sure we had a lovely adventure!

Unfortunately it was a windy day, so our guide, Peter, really had to row hard to take us to the icebergs. The glacier and the icebergs were beautiful and the float down the river was very pleasant. The train ride was fun. Everyone was very professional, safety was a top concern, we were very pleased.

Scenic train ride,lunch disappointing regarding the high cost of the tour i expected better,even a pic nic can be more sophisticated and have quality. No bottles of water provided,what i expect when i pay that price. The waterrafting with the icebergs was the highlight of the tour. Overall not to bad experience being short time in Anchorage but in my opinion far to expensive for what is offered at the end. The wildlife center is the joke of the tour ,visit in a rush as good as no time to take pictures.Minivan dirty and old. The return by coach is fine the only downside is to be dropped back at the railway station who is closed at that time and where it is impossible to find a taxi,should be better to drop fex at the trolley departure point in the centre of Anchorage
