Had a great time. Bring an umbrella for rain or sun. Learned so much about Ppi at the waipa foundation...and actually appreciate and liked it! Be flexible.

I booked the Kauai south shore food tour on my husband's birthday. This tour exceeded all expectations. Not only did we taste great local foods, but we heard from people who work incredibly hard to provide a delicious product for visitors. I couldn't eat another bite by the end of the tour ( we had yummy leftovers the next day), but the concept of eating local will stick with me. Arrive hungry. Keep an open mind. Do this early in your trip so you will have some insider tips on where to eat.

Susan, our guide, was especially thoughtful, helpful, and fun. We really enjoyed our experiences on the North Shore tour. All of the food, etc. was delicious and very Hawaiian. The vendors were all super fun and interesting. Darren at The General Store is a great guy with great food and Uncle Mikey is a real character with a clever food idea...very tasty. Highly recommend the North Shore Food Tour.
