Issac was great but the food is shockin with no G. Carbo hell and it should be called the depression food tour. The first intro food is Knish a secret recipe of potato cheese and onion. They can die with the secret. Served on a paper plate with plastic spoon and a small sample. The organisers are saving on very poor restaurant choices costing them little. Our group of 5 left before the cheese and chicken sandwich stop. Surely they can find more interesting food places. Issac was wonderful and the 2 stars are for his great efforts.
I loved this tour so much, that I repeated it with my aunt...an 80th birthday gift. Isaac is so knowledgeable and interesting, that even the second time around I learned a lot. My aunt, who grew up in Brooklyn, was amazed by how much she hadn't known about "the old neighborhood"! I highly recommend this tour to everyone...New Yorkers or travelers. Don't think twice...do it!! Oh...and the food is great!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see sites in Brooklyn. I enjoyed that it was a small group, only 16 people. There were more food stops than I expected ~ all delicious. A nice bonus. The guide, Isaac, was excellent and very knowledgeable of the area.
