This was our favorite thing we did while in Salem! Our tour guide, Sarah, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Salem (before, during, and after the Witch Trials) and did a great job of fleshing out the people behind all of those historical names you see. She had great pacing and energy, answered everyone's questions, and brought humor to an otherwise bleak topic. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

Jeff was such an amazing tour guide and we could not have asked for someone with more knowledge or understanding of the history in Salem. Growing up in Salem, he has completely taken full advantage of the opportunities to learn and understand the history surrounding this amazing town. A true educator and advocate for preservation of what some may never have the opportunity to experience and may only read or hear about in their lifetime. You can tell that he has taken the time to research and study the details that have been overlooked, or that have changed over time based individual perspectives. He gives you many facts while also helping you see a different side of the dark and twisted time in which the Witch Trials took place. He brings to light how other influences such as the economy, weather, disease, and religion during this time period influenced this dark chapter in Salem, all while managing to tie in some humor!! I highly recommend this tour and would even do it again as I’m sure I could not fully absorb all of the information in one tour!

This was such an interesting and informative tour! Sarah was a great guide. We got such an in depth history of the events during the Salem Witch Trials as well as various recommendations of places to eat and things to do around the city. Our group was really large, but we never had a hard time seeing or hearing what was being said, since she used a loud microphone. Highly recommend!
