We (5 of us from 8 to 70) had a fantastic time learning about the city with James and Ashley! They were the main folks we rode with. The guides were all interesting, funny, and each had additional information and tidbits. There were a few times we had a longer wait than expected but big bus always showed up. People getting on and off shared where they were from which was also fun. Having a bench at each stop would help the grandparents, but it was certainly our choice to be active and get on and off.

We were excited to see the City on the Big Bus but were very disappointed. We got on at stop 1 and waited over a half hour to leave the stop. The bus left and skipped stop 2 & 3 due to the Columbus Day parade, So we got off at stop 4. When we checked the app we walked to stop 8 to pick up a bus, after a half hour wait we left and walked back to stop 4, only a Block away to catch that bus instead. Rode to Stop 10, was told the last bus would pick up at 5:45, at 6:10 we were still waiting so we called an Uber. Total wast of money. Definitely would not recommend.

We take pride in ensuring that all of our customers enjoy themselves while touring with us, based on what you have stated we have failed to make this happen. On the date of your tour there were events taking place that were out of our control and because of these events our tour route was affected severely. Along with the Columbus day parade we also had our CPS teachers union strike taking place, which caused a tremendous build up resulting in our buses running almost 45 minutes behind. Was in North Chicago for a couple days and decided to stop downtown on our way home and do a tour. Found Big Bus on tripadvisor. Uploaded the app as well as the SpotHero app to reserve a parking space. Didn't know what to expect, I'm a country girl and a little intimated by the big city.Both apps worked great. Was able to book Big Bus through the app. We hoped on at one of the stops. The tour guides were awesome! Very informative. Although it was raining, windy and chilly we still enjoyed our tour. After a few stops we decided we were just going to suck it up and sit on top. It was a much better view. Highly recommend this tour. We do plan to come back and do some of the other tours and more sightseeing. We were limited on time and didn't have the chance to hop on and hop off. But definitely will return.
