Great way to get a feel for the city and get your bearings. We did this first when we got to the city. Buses were on time and tour guides were very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend.

We used the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off service for three days while visiting Chicago. The drivers are brave souls that navigate the city very effectively. The tour guides were helpful and entertaining. Some seemed to be more knowledgeable than others, but they all seemed enthusiastic. I would recommend starting off early and taking the whole two hour tour first, to acquaint yourself with what you want to explore further. And definitely install their app on your phone. That way you will get real time alerts. Be aware that the last bus pickup is at 5.

Where do I start? One girl (Joy) made her voice contort so badly by adding odd inflections and extra syllables that she was hard to understand. Later Jack D. was rude, and made sexual comments about the buildings and racial jokes. He said it was OK since we were all adults but I was not impressed. When I asked a question he responded in a rude and abrupt manner that did not address my question. I repeated my request about how to get from one point to another he said "you gotta walk honey". I am over 50 and i am out of shape but there was now compassion or help. This guy thinks he's funny but isn't and it tainted the trip... Now the worst part. I bought two day tour at 2 pm one day and found out today that they were closing at 3 for a staff party so I had a condensed day. feel ripped off that I was not alerted to this on the day I paid the $55. Not cool.

There is no excuse or reason for any one of our guides to have provided a service or comments of this type. We have notified our Head of Operations and he is handling the situation with the mentioned Tour Guides. We are sorry for the miscommunication about the shortened day.
