I took the 2 day premium ticket through Groupon for 35$ which was agreta deal.First day I took the Red route through Hollywood.The guide Gina was not the best Big Bus has had so far.SHe stumbled on her words, had more of a conversation with the driver david than with the guests, very limited knowledge of city, not a good commentator - tour took 2 hours.Better to take this over weekend to avoid the horrendours traffic.Second day I took the blue loop Beach - Santa monica and Venice Beach.Guide was much much better - Gerry I believe with driver Jacksone.Again nothing much to see except concrete structions untik you reahc Santa Monica Pier/Venice Beach. for 35$ i gues sits was ok.I did not do hop on/off since i read the long waiting hour reviews. They should start Red loop from Hollywood Highlnd too like in other cities not expect guests to take red loop again untl stop & then get onto Blue loop.Its is complete waste of time???

I did the red tour and blue tour yesterday and it was fab! I’ve done in the one in NYC so I knew what to expect. Seeing as it is fairly new in LA I thought the guides did a good job. Recommend if you’re looking for an easy way around LA with some interesting facts and good humour.

I paid to the man in the street for a tour in Spanish. I speak English, but my mom doesn't. He told me that there was not a problem with that. I took the bus from Hollywood and nobody said nothing about the use of earphones, the different chanels, etc. When I could to listen something in my language (for 10 minutes only) , we arrived to the point to change to the blue route. That second bus had not available the language system. When I asked to the guide (from Chicago) what to do he said "unfortunately the language system is not available in this bus" and he went to the second floor. He didn't care at all. My mom looking through the window bored and annoyed for more than 1 hour of ride. Me trying to translate something! It was a very bad experience. We saw the most important places in LA but we know nothing about them! Don't say there is language system if this is not working. I felt you have stolen my money, 100 usd, nothing cheap!
