Because we hopped on/off we ended up with 3 different guides who each delivered commentary of LA in their own style. If you are a film/music buff your brain will be filled with every point they can remember over the years and the location it happened. Allow most of a day with a break for lunch to get around and stop for a break. Sun cream/hats/neck cover is vital in the summer as there is no getting away if you go downstairs if it is full, l and the heat from the bus engine just as bad. However a great way to get around, sit back and let the good drivers take the strain.

My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary in LA and had the best time of our lives! We were able to get a great deal on the BBT by buying my tickets on GROUPON! We bought the 2-day bus tour tickets and toured on the red line one day and the blue line on the next day. It was the best way to get around to see all of the sights. We started early in the morning and would stay out all day getting off where we wanted to take a closer look and take pictures, then we'd hop off to continue on the tour. If you get off the bus, take note that it will take about a half an hour for the next bus to arrive. I guess this was an issue for some people, please be patient and enjoy the scenery at the stops. We are from a large city and this is a normal wait time for buses. The tour guides where great! The bus drivers were fantastic! Most were funny and very knowledgeable. This was one of the best buys on our trip!

Took the beach route with some friends and had a great time! Raymond was an amazing driver, you have nothing to worry about when he’s behind the wheel. Frank was a great host - funny, knowledgeable, and really tried to make a connection with those on the bus. Definitely a dynamic duo!
