When my online order never produced a QR Code, even after my credit card was charged, sweet ground staff member Wanda Bou took care of me. Sold me another ticket and helped me board the first bus on the blue route. She’s kind and very helpful. The whole Hop On Off Big Bus experience was perfect! I highly recommend it. After insisting on a refund for the first charge, I got it back on my card.

We bought tickets on line and showed up at one of the hop on sites with the tickets on my daughter’s phone. We were told by the driver that the tickets on the phone had to be converted to paper tickets at a central location, but he let us on. He apologized for the broken air conditioning on the lower level - the upper level was full. Some of our party felt the heating the lower level was intolerable and we got off at the next stop. When my daughter inquired about a refund she was informed that air conditioning is not guaranteed on the ride - there was no refund.

Hello, We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your experience. Unfortunately, all of our buses are open top, double decker buses. Due to this, we are unable to offer air conditioning as both decks connect to the outdoors. We apologize if this created an inconvenience during your trip and hope you were still able to join the tour on the top deck.

Not sure if I just had bad luck with this company or if this is other people's experience as well... The actual tour is good, but what is NOT is the wait times to GET a bus. We waited in line, out on the street in the July heat for an hour and a half for an Uptown tour bus to come (and we were TOLD it came every 30 minutes). 5 EMPTY buses came and left, which was super-frustrating. When we asked the employees what was happening, they simply replied, "A bus is coming." The bus wasn't coming. After 90 minutes, the bus finally came, and headed downtown, which made me think I just waited an hour and a half for the wrong bus. Then is changed courses and went uptown. There are only 5 stops on the uptown tour and you don't actually see that much. You only go as far north as The Met. Years ago I went on the Gray Line bus and they took you as north as Harlem. Another issue -- a big issue -- was the complete filth of the buses. Buses were not cleaned in between passengers leaving and new ones getting on. When we got on the bus, there were other peoples' discarded rain ponchos, headphones, and other food and drink trash. Disgusting. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience and I would never use this company again. I will definitely try Top View Sightseeing Tours next time.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about your experience in New York. We are disappointed to hear your bus was not clean on the day of your trip. We clean our buses daily, in the morning and in the evening, and also throughout the day to maintain them. We apologize if this was not the case on the bus you boarded. As for the Uptown tour, it seems you may have visited on a day we had detours on our loop which were advertised on our website and application, as well as on street through our staff members.
