Three consecutive day Platinum pass $130 for 2 - WORTH IT! You can visit every nook & cranny of the town you’re in and get back to your starting point in style). Old Town Trolley Hop On/Off Tours was SUPERB! I’d recommend this company over any other (we visited Boston.) Trolleys were easy to pick out in the heavy traffic, clean, comfortable, had the right amount of seating, a easy-to-read city map, BIG windows and we could hear every word. The recorded sounds at major points were really a fun add! We had many drivers / guides over the course of three days, but “Uncle Steve” (5/10), “Bunker” (5/11), “Gonzo” (5/12 {if you’re a theater person, you will LOVE him!} ) stand out as PRICELESS GEMS! Not only did we get comprehensive, historical narration at each stop, but all three added personal nuances and tidbits of information, as we rode through town, you’d never get on a purely historical tour. Drivers / guides narrate from a “sanctioned” historical script; these men imparted their personal knowledge and experiences connected not only to historic sites, but to interesting places along the way. They were passionate in their delivery about Boston and you could tell they loved sharing their personal experiences and recollections with us. They connected past, present and future to make Boston a living, ever-changing, interesting city to us visitors.
ONE REGRET: Old Town Trolley Hop On/Off Tours is not in Philadelphia, PA (46M visitors in 2019!) We know the really narrow streets (in Old City) are killer, but please think about adding Philly - we have The Bell!! (and Independence Hall and Center, Franklin Institute, Eastern State Penitentiary, Constitution Center, Academy of Natural Sciences, Mütter Museum…)
