Busch Gardens Tampa has really gone down hill. Used to have many shows we loved. Now the ice Skating show is the only really great show left and it is wonderful. Music concerts in January and February are relatively good, but they are gone after February. Went to the park on 2/25/24. Management that day was pathetic! Arrived at 10:30am. It took 45 minutes once parked to get on a tram to the front gate. Apparently, they have cut the number of trams, so waits are always longer, but today was ridiculous! That was bad enough, but the fun wasn't over yet. When the tram arrived at the park entrance there was there was another 45 minute wait to get through security. Apparently, the park could only afford two (2) metal detectors so hundreds of people were bunched up in 8 or 9 lines to waiting to get through security. After finally getting through security, you ran into another jam up of people waiting to get their ticket scanned. Why they hold up whole lines of people who have passes or valid tickets while they argue with guests with ticket problems is ridiculous. So after another 20 minutes your finally in the park. Therefore, if you're going to BG Tampa, you should plan on an extra 1 hour and 30 minutes to get in the park after you park and that's if you don't need to buy tickets. Buying tickets at the park is another nightmare and delay. Many of these Management problems could be solved rather easily if they care about their guests. Here's a suggestion: 1. run more trams during peak times identified by those giving out parking permits. 2 buy a few more metal detectors to move people through security faster. They can't be that expensive
3 provide escape lines to move people out who have security or ticket problems. 4. Allow people to buy tickets and free guest passes on line, so they don't have to use their park day waiting in line!

We sincerely regret to read about this experience and thank you for taking the time to reach out. Feedback from guests like you is instrumental in helping us deliver a better experience for all our guests.
The wellbeing of our guests is our number one priority, and we apologize these standards were not met on the date of your visit. Unfortunately, on days of higher attendance our park may experience a temporary wait to enter the park. As all of our guests must enter through our security check points and have their admission verified, this process can contribute to a longer wait.
We certainly understand any frustration this delay can cause and have forwarded your experience on to our park and guest arrival leadership team for their further internal review and improvement. -IG
