The tour was canceled, and we were not notified. I would not use this vendor. They deserve zero stars.

We are very sorry. As a third party vendor, we were not informed by Discover Avalon company that the tour was cancelled. A portion of the tour was cancelled due to high winds. The shuttle and boat was running that day. Only Discover Avalon tour had to cease operation, unexpectedly. We can work with you on a partial refund. Please contact us directly at [email protected] - refer to your confirmation number and their res team will assist you. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience.

This was a great way to experience Catalina Island. It was difficult knowing where to go for the Discover Avalon tour once we arrived. We eventually located the meeting point and enjoyed all the views.

We took the Catalina Ferry to the island. We noticed immediately that at least 95% of the people there were not wearing masks. To add to the concerns, cruise ships came in 2 out of our 4 days there and tons of people added to the already small spaces of the town. It is a lovely place with lots to do....but my husband and I both had covid diagnosed within a day of our return. The hotels are trying...but restaurants, venues, and everywhere you go are people unmasked. It's a great place if you've already had covid or don't mind getting it!!! Avalon is beautiful lovely.
