The guide spent more time talking about the historical buildings around Central Park more so than information about Central Park. Perhaps that should be better explained in the blurb if thats the focus of this tour? My biggest complaint is that he rode VERY VERY fast which made it difficult to keep up and not get lost in this beautiful, big park. I should add I am a regular bike rider who rides for 1 hour every morning before work so keeping up was not due to my lack of bike experience or fitness. We also spent wasted time waiting for the remainder of the group to catch up after every time we stopped. Surely the guide would have figured that our and riden slower but he didnt. A somewhat disappointing tour.
This was a great way to learn more about the Park. It set us up for several fantastic walks with a little background knowledge which made it even more enjoyable. Lunch at the Loeb Boatshed is also a must!
Excellent ride through the park. Stan, our guide, was very informative. Experience only spoiled by having to wait for one family at the start by 20 minutes and 10 minutes during the ride
