Have been a member for years but canceled after my experience today. Sent my son with his grandparents and they were turned away with printed tickets in hand and my membership card. Ticket attendants were rude, supervisor was unhelpful, would not recommend. If you are looking for things in the city consider the Museum of Natural History. Far superior member experience.

This was the first time I had been to the Central Park Zoo in almost six years and it was nice to visit again. I forgot how nice the zoo was to visit and how relaxing it is to just sit by the seal tanks and just watch the seals do their thing. The bird sanctuary was loaded with birds flapping around looking a little bored with the limited space they had, the monkeys were climbing around or sunning themselves in this own little enclosure. The penguins were swimming around and having fun diving all over the place. It was nice to just walk around, relax and look at them looking at me. It is a nice zoo to spend the afternoon in and just watch the animals have some fun. It seems to me that the seals get a kick out of looking at us looking at them.

I love this little zoo. It only takes about an hour to go through the whole thing. The animals have nice habitats and seem to be well cared for. The plants are beautiful. There are lots of places to sit and relax. I would definitely stop in again
