Zoe was a very personable and knowledgeable guide! Our small group made it extremely easy to hear and learn as she shared through pictures and dialogue. There were MANY good tastings that gave us a wonderful selection of various Chinatown and Little Italy restaurants. Very pleasant and informative tour!!!

We had a blast on this tour. Our guide, Zoe, was down to earth, a gracious host, and obviously good at her job. She was welcomed, enthusiastically, at all of the spots we visited. The food was wonderful but the history stole the show. We had our two children with us and even they had fun! We'd absolutely book another tour with this group - this was money well-spent.

After initially stating that perhaps she should have worn some kind of voice to word transmission device a la subtitles due to how fast our host initially spoke, we (8) acclimated to a wonderful, enjoyable day of enlightenment on 2 parts of town that this native New Yorker hardly ever visits. She really was a sweet, entertaining, respectful and generous gal, whom really, really enjoys her knowledge and is pleased to provide it. All the food was delish, except for the dumpling, but my bro-in-law thought it to be his favorite. Eggplant w Lemoncello was scrumptious! Candy was delish. Cheeses were astounding. Staff at all places were so very kind too. Concerning the tour locations: Bloody Corner felt like I was on a movie set, and that’s what permeated my perceptions. Perhaps intersecting the awe inspiring history w current pop culture touchstones would enhance the tasty tour even more. For instance: 1) Whilst crossing Hester Street, mention the 80’s/90’s small lil gem of a movie HESTER STREET starring Oscar nominated and NYC icon Sylvia RIP Miles. 2) At Five Corners discuss the multi-Oscar nominated blockbuster film GANGS OF NEW YORK and its profound retelling of how animalistic we were to each other. Note that the Irish immigrants were lower on the rigid societal scale than the Black community. That’d be quite eye opening to so many of your future attendees. 3) I’m sure Little Italy has a treasure trove of fun facts (or just rumors) that can be told. The addition of visual aids w sharing photographs certainly enhanced this artist’s experience also. More of those images would certainly be educational too. Ending w a gorgeous dessert in the upstairs, seemingly VIP section of the last place allowed for a graceful, intimate closure to a lovely afternoon of being w my lil sister, Babe and my bro-in-law, Marty in my beloved city I call home in NYChelsea. Thank you to my family for sharing their Happy (Karen) Valentines Day/Weekend with me. Yum! Please give our historical host a raise. She deserves every accolade that you can give. Brava!
