Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

We had such an amazing time white water rafting with Downstream Adventures. Kevin was an excellent guide as most of us had not previously rafted and we had younger kids with us ages 7,10, and 12. It was the perfect balance of rowing and relaxation!! Highly recommend these guys!

Our experience rafting with Downstream Adventures was exceptional. We had Chaz as our guide and he gave us an adrenal filled experience down the river. Our next visit to Colorado we plan to take the advanced trip down the river and hopefully Chaz will be available to guide us.

So glad we chose Downstream Adventures. They were top notch and even accommodated a request to switch days due to weather. Russell was an awesome guide , very informative and personable. Hope to do another trip with them...
