I misunderstood something Elf had told me, which was fine... but her level of frustration and the way she scolded me for it was not okay. I was so speechless and uncomfortable when I got off of the phone with her that I immediately texted her and told her that I didn't think we hit it off well and we would like a refund for the trip. I was trying to take the high road and not be ugly, even though I was just yelled at like a child, so I told her the way she spoke to me made me very uncomfortable and I did not feel okay with being in a car with her the next day. She responded by calling me a "Karen". I Blocked her from my phone and had to spend the whole night worried if she was still going to show. If you go on this trip, I recommend that you talk to her before your 24 hours is up to cancel. I messaged about talking sooner a couple of times and she would not talk to me until the evening before when my cancelation window was already closed. She denied my refund and I ended up paying for a trip we didn't even get to take. This was supposed to be a gift for my husband's 40th birthday.

Elf is amazing. She is a Hawaii local for many decades. She is immersed in the culture and lifestyle. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken on an adventure all around the island. Based on your requests she can tailor the experience. We got to see so many unique and beautiful parts of the Oahu. Being with Elf makes all the difference of really immersing yourself in and understanding all the beauty Hawaii has to offer. Definitely book this private tour!

Elf 🧝‍♀️ has a passion for the island. This is a private tour like no other. She takes the time to give you a history of the island as well as support local businesses. She shows her love for the island, yet also respects its visitors and gives a different perspective of Hawaii other than the obvious tourist traps. We would do the tour again with Elf if we will be so blessed to visit Oahu once again.
