Krombie’s tour showed me a side of NYC I never knew existed. I was awestruck by her knowledge, empathy, inclusiveness and wonderful humour. I walk with a cane, and she made the tour so accessible and safe. The best tour I’ve ever done in any part of the world.

In New York, I walked through time. The city, alive and dead, unfolded under the guide's words. K. Krombie led us, her knowledge vast, her humor subtle. We started at Whitehall, moved through shadows of the past. Lenape graves, Dutch quarrels, British prisons—all whispered their stories. The streets of Manhattan, Tribeca, Chinatown, bore marks of riots, epidemics, laws. We saw forgotten graves, a jail, a street lined with the trade of death. Each step was a story, each story a piece of the city's heart. This tour, "Death in New York," is not just a walk. It's history, raw and real, no ghosts or legends, just the bones of the city. For three hours, we walked 2.5 miles, but we traveled centuries. As a New Yorker, I thought I knew my city. I was wrong. This tour showed me the layers beneath, the lives and deaths that shaped this place. It's a must for anyone, resident or tourist, who wants to see the city's true face.
