Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We took our children, ages 11 and 8, who had never snorkeled before. When we arrived at 7:30 am they were having a terrible storm, so I was worried our tour would be canceled. But after a little delay, we were able to get going. I appreciated their flexibility with time. We had Alyssa for a tour guide and Jim for the boat captain. They were both very nice and knowledgeable. They answered many questions from my son, and explained things very well. Since it was summer, there weren't as many manatees around (which I knew going in), but they were persistent in finding some, and they even showed us an extra spot with fish. They were extremely careful and respectful of the manatees and other creatures. Plus, the boat ride was beautiful. It was wonderful and I definitely recommend it and would do it again. We got the picture package and it was worth it to have our guide take pictures and not have to worry about it. She took great ones!

They were VERY patient and accommodating with my 75 year old Mother who was trying to snorkel for the first time. She couldn't do it and they helped her back to the boat and ultimately placed the boat right next to a Mom and Calf for a super close view port side. Well done Gents, WELL DONE!! Great tour and staff!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so happy that you and your Mother had a good time and got to see a mom and calf up close. Not everyone likes to go into the water, and you can get great views from the boat- so I'm glad your Mother enjoyed her tour. I commend her for trying the snorkeling part of the tour, it can be intimidating to be in the water with large creatures, especially if you aren't familiar with a snorkel! I went out with a group of 8 on the 7:30am tour and we saw 3 manatees. One of which was a baby that let us hang out with him while he had a big seagrass dinner. Our captain and guide, Don were super nice and made the trip a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour. I'd like to go back in the winter when there are a bunch more manatees.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us, we really appreciate it. Had to laugh at the "sea potatoes" description- it is pretty appropriate for some of our wonderful sea cows. I am delighted that you had a good time on your tour and that you had a good encounter with the manatees. The babies are so darned adorable, aren't they?
