Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We were able to book this trip on a short notice and it was worth the cost. We were brought over to the area where many of the manatees were usually located and the second one we sighted was a mother and calf. Our captain and guide explained that the baby was probably a week old so we would just look from a distance, much better for the pair. I'm very glad they had such respect for the animals, as many other operators may have just dumped the customers in with the mom/baby and hoped for the best. We did see three other manatees and were able to swim near them, watching as they cleaned up all the grass they could eat, just glad we didn't get in their way! On the way out we saw a pair of dolphins as well as a raccoon and many species of birds, overall the family had a great time! The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable which made for an interesting and enjoyable experience.

Your feedback means a lot, and we were so thankful that you understood and appreciated how special it was to see the newborn, and how important it is to its health and well being for all of us on the water to give the new calf and it's mother time to bond. Our staff are passionate about the manatees (we participate in health assessments, rescues, Bay clean ups, etc)- and we really love it when our guests feel the same way. One of our favorite parts of our job is the fact that we never know exactly what we will see on each trip, and I am so glad that the dolphins, birds and raccoon all showed up for your tour. We snorkeled with the Manatee yesterday. There were so many people and tours and being at the end of the season, were concerned with wouldn't see many manatee. But we were pleasantly surprised! Captain Jill Collins and our guide Dakota were very knowledgeable and we had a great ride out to Kings Bay. We are a family of 4 and a total of 6 is the max on the tour, so thats great! We saw so many manatees, mother and baby...many were swimming right by us and under us. Truly an amazing experience!

Captain Jim is really great at finding manatees, and we swear that Dakota is a manatee whisperer. Many guests love the eco-tour portion of our tour that travels between the Crystal River Archaeological Park and the Crystal River Preserve, and we are glad that you enjoyed it as well. The manatee experts agree that swimming with the manatees is an amazing experience, and that it actually helps in their preservation, because people who love an animal are invested in preserving and protecting them. It was a cool morning which made for a lot of manatee activity. Water guide Haley knows her stuff. Captain Robert made the trip entertaining. Great experience. Great company. Would highly recommend
