Our Denali Zipline Tour was one of the highlights of my family's Alaska trip! I (a 13 year old) did this with just my mom because my brother (a 9 year old) didn't way enough to go. Apparently, if you don't weigh enough, you wouldn't make it to the end of the zipline and would have to pull yourself to the end. Anyway... the ziplining tour was a perfect first zipline experience. They had a ground school that taught you all the basics and the ziplines increased their difficulty the more you did. At first it was a little scary, but it gets really fun once you gather up the courage to go off the platform. However, I have heard of people that have decided to end their trip early and not continue ziplining. There are also a few suspension bridges and a repel. The views are pretty nice and on the last one you zip across a lake. I will say however, the zipline goes fast, so you don't have much time to savor the views as you go across. You do have to wait some at the platforms, depending on how big your group is. The guides (unfortunately I don't remember their names) were super nice, friendly, funny, and helpful. One took pictures of your group that you could buy at the end. Our group consisted of 4 people (me, my mom, and two other women), which was a good amount. For us, they had to put us with more people (the two women) because we were the only ones signed up for our time slot. So, if everybody in your family could go, you might be able to just go with your individual family and not with strangers. Overall it was a great experience for us!
